 What kind of game are you looking for? If its an MMO I've filtered through alot of the F2P ones and can tell you whats decent.
Not alot out these days it seems though, mostly waiting for GW2 myself.

 Any type of game really.

I've done FPS before, long time playing RPGS, RTS, and MMOs.

The only things I would be against are MOBAs, fighting games (like street fighter), sports games, and racing.


To put it straightforward, I'm looking for something (or a couple of things) to capture my attention for a couple months until something new comes around (like gw2 or if swtor gets better, or diablo 3 etc.)



I've been playing sc2 for the better part of the last couple of weeks. it's not as fun as it used to be..

I've heard a lot about rift but everyone I know who played it quit. So why should I go play that? (would like to hear why people left it)

 RIFT has both challenging PvP and PvE content. It's a really good game; I only quit it because my friend quit. I've been playing it a lot here lately and it has TONS to offer. They have a huge PvP patch coming up this Wednesday, so if you like PvP, RIFT might interest you now, but if you like PvE a lot, RIFT will definately be for you.

 You could play X-com and X-com 2 ;). They're old turn-based tactical games where you run an agency that protects the Earth against alien invaders.

 Here is a list of a few I've found, most of them looked really good but I couldn't play due to lag. (1k pings do not agree with point to attack games).

Eden Eternal - Been pushing this on a few people and most have liked it (I think?). It's graphics are really cartoony, but the combat feels fluent and you can change classes. Out of all of them I'd say this is your best shot for a fun game.

DC Universe Online
Vindictus
Dragons Nest
Allods Online - (Amazing potential, but the leveling is SLOW and the cash shop unforgiving.)
Savage 2
Forsaken World
Minecraft
Uncharted Waters Online - (more of a 'play when you're half asleep" game)

 I'm playing Dragon Nest at the moment, and it quite fun if you like fast pace action game.

You can solo for the most part of the game because you can select difficulty of a dungeon to fit your level / gear.

 i just came across stronghold kingdoms.

I loved playing original stronghold and (kinda enjoyed)stronghold2. So if you played/liked those games might be something worth giving a shot... Oh and also it looks like its a MMO also! and free!

For you who don't know stronghold is a medieval castle building sim game. I was so addicted to the original one from 2001. Good stuff. :)
