Saga Consigliere Posts: 457 Group: Administrator Member #703 Joined: Sep 20 2011	Ok a lot of members have started to learn how to live stream which is great, we want to be streaming saga games as much as we can. If you want to stream let us know and please use our account http://www.twitch.tv/friendlyfiregaming Now comes the bad news: Don't stream from a personal account. If you have 10 streams for different people you won't get many viewers or attention. If those 10 people all stream on the same account which is streaming live often then that channel will get far more attention. So basically right now I am laying down the law. I can't stop anyone from live streaming, but we do have a rule that you cannot advertise anywhere. So if I see you verbally advertising or posting links to your personal live stream on our ventrilo or forums we will warn, kick or ban if necessary. Exceptions may be made in some circumstances. We don't want 50 people with the password to our account so please apply for the password down below. Rules of the stream: Absolutely no swearing. As soon as we drop a couple of curse words our stream will get flagged and become 18+. This is also a rule you accepted when you joined saga so it should come as no surprise If you are streaming, have some sound! Either your team in vent + you, game music, or talk over it (casting). Edit your videos after you're done streaming. If you spent the first 5 minutes of the stream setting everything up, crop that out. (use the scissors icon) Edit the stream page to say what you are playing. It is right above the actual video. Don't post anything to YouTube (the option comes up after the stream.) The officers will do that. Be mature. Don't be crying and raging like you are 5 years old again. Try to make the stream as clear as you can. Don't sacrifice lag in game to have a perfect stream but at least make it non-choppy. No one wants to watch a choppy, blurry stream. We stream any game. What's your pc specs / upload speed? Assuming you have the appropriate specs/upspeed its quite easy to do Xsplit is the new and best way to do it, it's in beta right now so you can use it for free the GUI is fairly self explanatory but ill go in depth in a second just need to get some screenshots. I have offered myself to help with the stream and I have been configuring, poking and probing as to the best way to stream. Yet I get no recognition. I seriously would like a chance to stream for FriendlyFireGaming/Saga but not if I am ignored all the time.

On behalf of the staff I can tell you its been a very chaotic and busy week with the launch of star wars and final exams and whatnot. I haven't been truly "on" the forums since monday ish only checking for anything needing immediate responses. As for your request to stream, well quite frankly we don't know you well enough. I have spoken to you personally maybe once, and I asked the LoL officers they too haven't seen in vent or premades. So if you want to stream for us please make an effort to make yourself a part of the community. Jump into vent and play some games with other members

I agree completely with the statement of not being on vent and premades enough as I am also busy with my personal creations on other websites. Again if there is anything I can do for assistance I would be more then happy to assist in what I could. I apologize for taking up your time to respond. Thanks a lot.

Anyway im online lots so hit me up. ps it would be nice if there was someone who knew EVERYTHING about the programes used to cast so that i could learn a thing or two.
