So, since this is a gaming community and since most people have seen the SNES to modern day console era, I wanted to know who's everyone favorite Hero/Villain in any game ever.
Please include which game they come from so people can go google the game or something if they feel interrested by it.
*Edit* If the character is part of the Heros or Villains party, they count as a Hero/Villain, because I know some main villain/hero are piss poor designs.*

My top picks would probably be like;

Villain: Kefka Palazzo - Final Fantasy 6
Hero: Yuri Lowell - Tales of Vesperia

Reasons for loving them.

Kefka; I love this guy simply because of how crazy he is, he's basicly the japanese version of The Joker, maybe a bit more insane in every way too.
Yuri: While most games portray the hero as a feeble little weakling that eventually grows super strong and goes for what everything is right and just, Yuri contradicts all of those. He's a badass swordmen that's already strong and does what he thinks is right, even killing a high officer or counselor in an empire because he feels it'll benefit for the greater good in the end.

Now it's your turn!

Lu Bu from the Dynasty Warriors series. Not much of a villan, but everyone who has played any of the Dynasty Warrior games (besides the first) knows how hard it is to beat him..

I loved Kefka Roff, he is definitely one of my favorite bad guys of all time, even if I knew it as Final Fantasy III.

I would have to say though that my favorite good guy, bad guy combo would have to be Raziel and Kain from the Legacy of Kain series, even though they both start out as bad guys they end up saving the world while fighting amongst themselves. Excellent story as well.

(Even stole my name from it^^)

Jon Irenicus is by far the coolest video game villain I ever encountered. For those of you who have played the Baldur's Gate series, you remember the opening sequence from the Shadows of Amn and how he teleports into a town square and proceeds to wipe out everyone.

EDIT: Can't forget Princess Edea, before she switched sides.

"A day may come when the courage of men fails, when we forsake our friends and break all bonds of fellowship, but it is not this day. An hour of woes and shattered shields, when the age of men comes crashing down! But it is not this day! This day we fight! By all that you hold dear on this good Earth, I bid you- stand, Men of the West! "

I'd have to say Kefka for sure as a bad guy. Like come on, he's like the only bad guy that succeeds in destroying the world.

As for good guy... i'd have to say Squall from FF8.
