For those of you who know me well, you are probably aware of my unhealthy obsession on all things LOTR. While the books and the films are truly perfect, the soundtrack itself is what brought the films to life (and tears to my eyes.)

It's honestly some of the best work I ever seen. Howard Shore deserves every Oscar he won for his work. Here are a couple highlighted songs that I enjoy. Consider purchasing these, it's worth every penny.

(Hands down the most beautiful song ever written. Annie Lenox is truly perfect)

(Move to 5:20. Simply breathtaking.)

(Builds up great suspense.. YOU SHALL NOT PASS)

/end of my nerd love for LOTR :)

Thanks,
Tommy

"A day may come when the courage of men fails, when we forsake our friends and break all bonds of fellowship, but it is not this day. An hour of woes and shattered shields, when the age of men comes crashing down! But it is not this day! This day we fight! By all that you hold dear on this good Earth, I bid you- stand, Men of the West! "

Ive never read the books. I am not a reader... although I do enjoy a good story. I have read many books that borrow or steal from JRT ideas and theme. The movies were spot on from what I would expect in a fantasy set movie and I enjoyed them thoroughly. The music is also by far some of the best I've heard. Set the tone real well. John Williams from Indiana Jones would be my only "better" musical score Ive heard. That was one of my favorite movies and soundtracks of all time. Different theme... but same idea. The soundtrack can make or break a movie.
Ahmhura - Demonologist
Kondir - Dark Templar
Sarrus - Conqueror

Add Titanic to the list. Just watched it again and Celine Dion knocked it out of the ballpark.
