Do you think this game will ever die out? It's got TONS of mods on PC and limited ones on XBOX 360. Not sure about the PS3 version tho. Tell us what you think and why.

I think it will die out eventually. Sure there are a lot of mods for it, but these mods are based on the engine Bathesda used. Bathesda pretty much uses the same engine for all it's games. When the next elder scrolls comes out, all the modders will just shift to the new game.

I do have it on Xbox 360, and i thoroughly enjoy playing it.
but i think as someone above has said, when The Elder Scrolls V comes out, it is likely to be an improvement to Oblivion, so that means that it will die then. :O

Nothing truly dies out completely, ppl still play Elder Scrolls Morrowind 3. Oblivion will still be played, there's always the players who like the prior game better. For example Halo Combat Evolved players lots of them dislike Halo 2 and Halo3. It's that way for Elder Scrolls.
You will see ppl liking Oblivion better than the new game.

Were watching you scum. The ordinators, goodtimes.

I played Morrowind for three years and I have came across others who have played longer than me. I would say the community is strong.

You can't really tell this yet till the next Elder Scrolls comes out, but even if the next one will be great, Oblivion will still be played, 100%.
