Instruments; What do you play?

 Anyone play any instruments out there?
Keyboard/piano, Drums, Guitar, Bass, Violin... kazoo?

Let us all know.
Do you play just to entertain yourself, do you like to play shows? Did you start playing to get a girl (or guy if your a girl or that's just your thing)
What style do you play on your instrument?

Currently I play guitar, I'm in a metal band with a few friends. We haven't really collaborated on any songs yet.
Not doing bad for only 3 practices though.
I picked up my guitar for 2 reasons 1) My friend was constantly convincing me my sophomore year
2) I was like "Hey, maybe it'll get me laid?" ... I suppose it did :)

Now that it did that, I've been trying to be the best I can be.
I guess for an example of a song I can play that a lot of people may know is Raining Blood, I can play it all up to speed just without super excellent Vibrato... and I really don't like the solo to begin with so I'm not even sad to say I don't know it

Oh yes, I play on an LTD F-50. I want an EX-250 or EX-400 or F-401

 I play the Trombone, Accordian, Keyboard and I also Sing (if vocals count)

I don't play any of my instruments professionally, but I do sing for stage performances such as musicals etc. for local theater company.

But yeah keyboards are cool, especially the ones with decent synthesizers, cause you can imitate other instruments like guitars etc.

 I currently play the electric guitar for lead. I also play general chords on an acoustic guitar I have. I play guitar for my own amusement mostly, but occasionally play at functions...

I can play the Imperial March on guitar haha. The actual intro is a little more difficult... on guitar anyway.

 I tried working out the chords for the death march, but no luck.

But yeah you don't even NEED chords for the opening on keyboard.

Although it is far better with chords.

 Well if you use Guitar Pro, I believe it'll transpose what's from the guitar to keyboard.
Soooo if you used guitar pro with the tab for the march it'd show you the chords... I suppose
haha
I just wasn't adept enough at chords when I was first learning it. I suppose now I could... but don't...
How can I be so lazy but in a band?

edit: It's gonna be fun to work out some sorta of guitar riff for Boats and Hoes
I'm gonna sing that on stage during my bands first show
...whenever that happens haha
