That's all I have to say to Sims players. A video game controlling people and challenging the needs of humans without giving violence, sex, course language, but instead ACTUAL REAL LIFE SIMULATION without sex and course language. (Okay you can do minor violence in there by killing your sim -.-) Really? Here's the catch: YOU CAN DO THAT IN YOUR DAMN REAL LIFE U IDIOT! yeah..there you go -.- What's that? You got no money but still like to see what is it like to get a piano while you don't even play piano? well....GO LISTEN TO A CD or something -.- If you get a piano without knowing how to play, you would just be producing noise and you get bored without 1 hour. So I think The Sims 1, 2, and 3 are the MOST stupidest game EVER created. It only indicates sadness in the social lives of many gamer.

It's not meant for serious or "hardcore" gamers, it's clearly for someone who doesn't enjoy the challenges of most other games. The way i see it the sims is just a way of killing time if you have nothing else to do, which some would say is what all video games are. Personally i could care less about the game, i don't play it and it doesn't bother me that other people enjoy it lol.

I play games very seriously and when I do play, I try to play it in the perspectives of the designer and see what he/she has to offer me, a gamer. I spend most of my other time studying really. I recently just downloaded 4.6Gb of books. Yes book! LOL XD and they are they BEST download I've ever had: all of them are about computer gaming XD

That way, at least you can say you are checking out the fantasy instead of real life situations that you don't have and hope to have.

I DLed 1 GB of books and it was a TON of books. but chyeah. When I moved out I was playing Sim City and my room mate was asking me about the game and why I bother playing it He had no knowledge of the game other than the title since while watching tv he could only see the back of the monitor... so he came to the monitor and watched me play for a few minutes and thought it was really cool etc So he got me to download the sims.... HE never got to play it but I did for a few hours. After a little bit though I decided I really didn't need to play anymore and I wasn't achieving much... It's a good way for like... kids to kill time I'd rather read than play it, though my attention span has been murdered in the past few years sooo until that is recovered it will be GUITAR TIME! edit: oh yeah, why the heck do you need so many books about computer gaming? Is there something really deep or amazing techniques to play better at computer games you need to figure out? Edited by Emperor, Jun 14 2009, 11:21 PM.

Yeah, The Sims isn't for everyone and the people who play it need not be rounded up into camps, they're fine how they are.
